1. Data We Collect

Account Data

  • Name, mobile number, email address
  • KYC documents (PAN, Aadhaar) for withdrawals
  • Bank account or UPI details

Health & Motion Data

  • Step counts from KadamPe step counter / Google Fit / Apple Health
  • Distance and calories (optional)
  • Brief GPS snapshots for fraud prevention (explicit opt-in consent required)

Device Information

  • Device model and OS version
  • Unique device identifiers
  • IP address for security
Note: We do NOT continuously track your location. GPS is used only for brief fraud detection checks with your explicit consent. You may revoke GPS permission at any time from device settings.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Reward Calculation: Track steps and calculate daily earnings
  • Payment Processing: Process withdrawals and manage subscriptions
  • Fraud Prevention: Detect and prevent fake steps using AI
  • Customer Support: Provide assistance and resolve queries

3. Data Sharing & Storage

We Never Sell Your Data. KadamPe does not and will never sell your personal data to third parties.

Limited Sharing With:

  • Payment Partners: Razorpay, Apple, Google for transactions
  • Cloud Services: AWS India for secure data storage (servers in India)
  • Analytics: Anonymized data only for app improvement
  • Legal Authorities: When required by law or court order

4. Data Retention Policy

Active Accounts
Data retained while account is active
Post-Deletion
Personal data deleted within 90 days of account deletion request
KYC Documents
Retained for 5 years after last transaction (RBI KYC guidelines)
Tax Records
Retained for 8 years as per Income Tax Act

5. Your Rights (Under DPDPA 2023)

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct your information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data
  • Portability: Receive your data in machine-readable format
